Biomes and Ecosystems.

As mentioned in the section “Basic data”, the biomes found in Palmetrix are, mountains, grasslands, tropical rainforest, and the coast. These biomes form Palmetricians everyday life. The temperate grassland is located in Palmetrix’s northwestern section. It helps farmers to produce their goods and to train cattle. Then, on Palmetrix’s northeastern section a vast of mountains are located. Here, the climate is a little bit colder, and during winter, people love to go out on a ski ride. On the southeastern section we have the tropical forests. Here it rains almost all year long. The tropical rainforest has only two seasons, dry and rainy. The last biome found in Palmetrix is the coastal biome, located in the northwest of Palmetrix. One special thing about Palmetrix’s biomes is that there is a palm tree, at least one, located in each biome. This is why Palmetrix was called like this.

All of the ecosystems found in Palmetrix have biotic and abiotic factors. Some examples of the abiotic factors are, the rocks, sunlight, soil and others. In Palmetrix, there are at least 30 biotic factors in every biome. Some of the biotic factors of the coastal biome are fishes, sharks, mangroves, crabs, pelicans, and more. Some abiotic factors of the mountain biome are snow, wind, temperature, altitude, sunlight, and others. In Palmetrix, we have the aquatic ecosystem, grassland ecosystem, forest ecosystem and the mountain ecosystem. All of the ecosystems in Palmetrix are very normal, they do not suffer any natural damage, like earthquakes, hurricanes, etc. In Palmetrix these natural disasters do not exist.
